Hallandale Beach City Parks

A resident's directory of the city's public parks β€” what's at each one, how big it is, and when it opened. From Atlantic beachfront access to lakeside greens and signature tennis centers.

How the system is run

The City of Hallandale Beach maintains its grounds through a Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces department, working from a City-Wide Parks Master Plan. In 2018, voters approved a Parks General Obligation (GO) Bond that funded a wave of rebuilds β€” Ingalls Park and the city's flagship Peter Bluesten Park reopened in 2019, and the Golden Isles Park & Tennis Center followed in 2021. Other projects, like O.B. Johnson Park in 2017, were funded through the city's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).
